The Verkada MT81 is a cloud managed mobile security trailer built for rapid deployment in locations where power and network access are limited or unavailable. Designed for construction sites, schools, public safety, critical infrastructure, parking areas, remote properties, and temporary security needs, the MT81 combines solar power, battery backup, remote cloud management, and support for advanced AI video security in one mobile platform. Verkada says the trailer supports up to six Verkada cameras, a BZ11 horn speaker, and a GC31 E cellular gateway, making it a strong solution for remote monitoring, active deterrence, and mobile perimeter protection.
The MT81 is available with either a 6.6 kWh or 13.2 kWh lithium battery, includes a 1600 W solar panel, an 8 port managed PoE switch, flashing blue LED strobe, and a 24 foot telescoping mast with electric powered winch. Verkada also notes that teams can remotely access cameras, power status, and connectivity metrics through Verkada Command, while adding features such as AI search, video alarms, live talk down, and advanced license plate recognition.
